48V 24Ah Swappable LiFePO4 Battery Pack is a swappable LiFePO4 traction pack engineered for battery-exchange operations. The 48V 24Ah pack is the entry format for urban delivery and shared two-wheeler fleets, sized for riders covering 40-60 km per exchange. It delivers 1.23 kWh of nominal energy at 51.2V (48V class) in a pack weighing approximately 10 kg, dimensioned to fit standard swap-dock bays so a rider can exchange a depleted unit for a charged one in seconds.
Cell & BMS Technology
The pack uses grade-A prismatic LiFePO4 cells in a 16S1P configuration. A smart BMS provides cell-level voltage monitoring, multi-point temperature sensing, active balancing, over-charge and over-discharge protection, short-circuit protection and current limiting. Communication runs over CAN / RS485 / UART, Bluetooth optional, allowing the swap cabinet and vehicle controller to read SOC, SOH, cycle count and fault history for billing, diagnostics and fleet management.
Safety & Cycle Life
LiFePO4 chemistry removes the thermal-runaway risk profile associated with nickel-based chemistries and delivers more than 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, which supports several years of service in high-utilisation fleets. The BMS keeps operation inside a -20C to +60C window, and the enclosure is sealed to IP67 against rain, dust and wash-down.
Charging
Standard charge voltage is 58.4V with a maximum continuous charge current of 25A, giving a full charge in approximately 1.5 hours from empty. The BMS accepts CC-CV charging from swap-station chargers and supports parallel rack charging. Alternative fast-charge profiles can be supplied on request.
Mechanical & Enclosure
The pack is housed in a die-cast aluminium frame with ABS/PC outer shell case with an integrated carry handle and a latch and guide-rail interface. Overall dimensions are 220 x 165 x 180 mm. A reinforced, vibration-tested variant is available for two- and three-wheelers operating on unpaved roads.
Typical Use Cases
Deployed in swap networks serving food delivery riders, courier fleets and shared e-scooter programmes in dense urban areas, where light pack weight and fast dock exchange matter more than maximum range per pack.
Customisation
Voltage, capacity, case dimensions, connector type, communication protocol and branding (labels, silk-screen and case colour) can all be customised for OEM and fleet programmes. Customisation on standard shells requires no new tooling; new tooling is quoted separately.
Every unit is 100% capacity-tested and balance-tested before shipment. Compliance target standards: UN38.3, IEC 62619, CE and RoHS. Warranty: 3 years (5 years optional).
