FAQ

Commercial and technical questions

What is your minimum order quantity?

Standard models start at one unit for evaluation and 10–50 units for a pilot batch, depending on the line. Container-level pricing applies from 200 units for swap and e-mobility packs, and from 5 units for commercial storage cabinets. OEM programmes with custom tooling usually start at 500 units.

Can you send samples before we commit to volume?

Yes. Evaluation samples are built on the production line, not in a separate lab, so what you test is what you will receive. Each sample ships with its own end-of-line test record. Sample cost is credited against your first production order.

What is your typical lead time?

Samples take 10–15 days. Production runs are 25–35 days after deposit for standard models, and 30–45 days for custom configurations. Peak season around Chinese New Year adds roughly two weeks, so plan shipments before late January.

Do you provide UN38.3 reports and MSDS?

Yes, for every model, at no extra cost. You receive the UN38.3 test summary and report, the MSDS, IEC 62133 / 62619 certificates where applicable, and a CE declaration. We can also prepare the documents in the format your freight forwarder or customs broker requires.

Can you customise voltage, capacity and enclosure?

Yes. We build 12V to 800V packs with custom capacities, connector types, enclosure dimensions, mounting points, communication protocols and labelling. Custom work starts from a drawing or a physical sample of your existing pack, and we return a 3D model and datasheet for approval before tooling.

What warranty do you offer?

Standard warranty is 3 years for vehicle and swap packs and 5–10 years for storage systems, against manufacturing defects and premature capacity loss beyond the specified curve. Warranty terms are written into the sales contract, not left to a verbal understanding.

How do you ship lithium batteries?

All shipments move as UN38.3-tested dangerous goods class 9. We pack to the applicable packing instruction, provide the shipper's declaration and MSDS, and work with forwarders experienced in lithium routes to Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Air, sea LCL and full-container sea freight are all available.

What payment terms do you accept?

Standard terms are 30% deposit with the balance against the bill of lading copy, by T/T. For established customers we can discuss 30/70 against shipment documents or an LC at sight. Sample orders are paid in full before dispatch.

Do you supply BMS, GPS and telematics?

Yes. Our BMS platform covers protection, balancing, SOC/SOH estimation, CAN and RS485 communication, and optional GPS with electronic geofencing for swap and fleet applications. Telematics data can be pushed to your own platform or to a dashboard we host.

Can you match the dimensions of our existing pack?

In most cases, yes. Send the outer dimensions, connector position, mounting hole pattern and weight limit. If the form factor cannot be met with LiFePO4, we will tell you before quoting rather than after shipping.

Which cell manufacturers do you use?

We work with tier-one and tier-two Chinese LiFePO4 cell makers depending on the application and price point, and we will name the cell in the quotation so you can verify it independently. Cells are graded and matched in-house; we do not mix unmatched batches in one pack.

How is after-sales handled in Asia and Africa?

We support through a combination of local service partners in key markets, remote diagnostics over the BMS communication interface, and direct engineering contact on WhatsApp and WeChat. Spare BMS boards, connectors and enclosures are stocked as part of the initial order so a repair does not wait for a sea shipment.

Do you supply the swapping station equipment as well?

We supply the packs, the BMS and the charging interface specification, and we work alongside station integrators for the cabinet and the swap mechanism. If you need a turnkey station, we can introduce partners we have delivered with in Southeast Asia and West Africa.

LiFePO4 or NMC — which should we choose?

For two- and three-wheelers, swap networks, storage and telecom backup, LiFePO4 is almost always the better commercial choice: longer cycle life, better thermal stability and lower cost per cycle. NMC only wins when weight or volume is the binding constraint, which is rare in these applications.

Can we put our own brand on the product?

Yes. We offer private-label and full OEM/ODM programmes: your logo on the enclosure, your label format, your packaging, your model numbering and, if required, your own BMS parameter set and firmware version string.

How is a warranty claim handled?

Report the serial number and the symptom with BMS logs. We diagnose remotely within two working days. If the unit is confirmed defective, we ship a replacement from the next production batch or from the spare stock held for your account, and we cover the freight on confirmed manufacturing defects.
