Description
5.12 kWh Wall-Mounted Home Battery (51.2 V 100 Ah) is a LiFePO4 home energy storage system for solar self-consumption and backup power. The wall-mounted 5.12 kWh unit is the standard single-phase home battery, sized to cover evening loads and short outages for a typical household. The system provides 5.12 kWh of nominal energy at 51.2 V using 16S1P architecture and is designed for wall-mounted installation.
Battery & BMS Technology
The system uses grade-A prismatic LiFePO4 cells and a multi-level BMS that performs cell balancing, cell voltage and temperature monitoring, over-charge and over-discharge protection, over-current and short-circuit protection, and state-of-charge and state-of-health estimation. Communication is provided over CAN / RS485, Bluetooth optional, with a display or app interface for monitoring, and dry contacts for generator or load control.
Safety & Cycle Life
LiFePO4 cells deliver more than 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge under typical residential daily cycling. The battery operates between -20 °C and +60 °C, the enclosure is rated IP20, and protection features include insulation monitoring, cell over-voltage and under-voltage cut-off and short-circuit isolation.
Charging & Inverter Compatibility
The system is charged by a hybrid or off-grid inverter at a recommended 50 A rate, with charge voltage set to 58.4 V. It is compatible with mainstream hybrid and off-grid inverters through standard CAN or RS485 protocols, and supports time-of-use scheduling, peak shaving, self-consumption maximisation and off-grid operation. Up to 8 units can be connected in parallel to reach 40.96 kWh for larger homes, using the supplied parallel communication cables.
Mechanical & Installation
The enclosure is powder-coated steel wall cabinet measuring 540 × 480 × 150 mm and weighing approximately 48 kg. The cabinet mounts on a wall or on an optional floor stand, with a maintenance clearance of 300 mm on both sides and 500 mm at the front. Terminal covers, cable glands and breaker provisions are included, and installation follows the supplied commissioning guide.
Typical Use Cases
Installed in single-family homes with 3-6 kW rooftop solar arrays, in shops and small clinics that need outage protection, and in weak-grid areas where daily load shedding is common.
Customisation
Capacity, cabinet colour, brand labelling, terminal type, protocol mapping and packaging can be customised for distributors, EPC contractors and installer networks. Firmware parameters, inverter compatibility lists and technical documentation are supplied in English. Larger capacities than the standard range are available on a project basis.
Factory battery module range
Storage systems are built from the following battery modules, with the system capacity configured per project:
