15kWh Rack-Mounted Home ESS with Hybrid Inverter is a LiFePO4 home energy storage system for solar self-consumption and backup power. This rack-mounted system bundles a 15.36 kWh battery bank with a 5 kW hybrid inverter in a single 19-inch cabinet for installations where wall space is limited. The system provides 15.36 kWh of nominal energy at 51.2V using 16S3P architecture and is designed for floor-standing rack (19-inch cabinet) installation.
Battery & BMS Technology
The system uses grade-A prismatic LiFePO4 cells and a multi-level BMS that performs cell balancing, cell voltage and temperature monitoring, over-charge and over-discharge protection, over-current and short-circuit protection, and state-of-charge and state-of-health estimation. Communication is provided over CAN / RS485, Ethernet and Wi-Fi optional, with a display or app interface for monitoring, and dry contacts for generator or load control.
Safety & Cycle Life
LiFePO4 cells deliver more than 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, equivalent to daily cycling for well over a decade in typical residential duty. The battery operates between -20C and +60C, the enclosure is rated IP20, and protection features include insulation monitoring, cell over-voltage and under-voltage cut-off and short-circuit isolation.
Charging & Inverter Compatibility
The system is charged by a hybrid or off-grid inverter at a recommended 150A rate, with charge voltage set to 58.4V. It is compatible with mainstream hybrid and off-grid inverters through standard CAN or RS485 protocols, and supports time-of-use scheduling, peak shaving, self-consumption maximisation and off-grid operation. The integrated inverter provides 5 kW continuous and 10 kW peak output on a single phase, with two MPPT inputs for PV strings, an AC bypass input and a programmable generator start contact.
Mechanical & Installation
The enclosure is 19-inch powder-coated steel cabinet with front service access measuring 600 x 600 x 1200 mm and weighing approximately 165 kg. The cabinet stands on a level floor with adjustable feet, requires 600 mm front clearance for service, and is commissioned through the inverter display or monitoring app. Terminal covers, cable glands and breaker provisions are included, and installation follows the supplied commissioning guide.

Used in villas, clinics, guesthouses, telecom repeater rooms and farmhouses that need a complete solar-plus-storage solution with a single supplier, including sites where three separate 5.12 kWh modules are preferable to a wall unit.
Customisation
Capacity, cabinet colour, brand labelling, terminal type, protocol mapping and packaging can be customised for distributors, EPC contractors and installer networks. Firmware parameters, inverter compatibility lists and technical documentation are supplied in English.
Every system is capacity-tested and communication-tested before shipment. Compliance target standards: UN38.3, IEC 62619, CE and RoHS. Warranty: 10 years (5 years optional).
